Pallasades Easter Egg Appeal for local children
17th February 2009Help needed to make a cracking Easter for local children!
Following the success of the 2008 Easter Egg Appeal, the Pallasades Shopping Centre in conjunction with The Birmingham Mail and 105.7 Smooth Radio are once again appealing to the local community to help local children have an egg-cellent Easter this year.
Shoppers will be encouraged to buy an Easter egg or two and place them in the giant Easter egg pod in the Pallasades by Tuesday 7th April.
At the end of the appeal, all donations will then be carefully delivered to Birmingham Childrens Hospital by the Pallasades and Birmingham Mail and to children who are in care throughout the city by the Childrens Rights Service in time to be enjoyed on Easter Sunday.
Childrens Rights, part of Birmingham City Council, gives invaluable support and help to the children and young people of the city by providing information about their rights and listening to their concerns and wishes.
Jo Blythin, Marketing Manager commented:
This appeal always proves to be a fantastic success and shows what a caring community Birmingham has. There are hundreds of children who are in care throughout Birmingham or will be spending the Easter holiday in hospital, and the Appeal is a simple way to give these youngsters a well deserved treat.
If you would like to give an egg this year, you can deliver them to the giant Easter Egg pod under the clock in the Pallasades or to The Customer Service Desk. For more information please call 0121 633 3070.
