PALLASADES CHARITY EASTER APPEAL

8th March 2010

HELP MAKE CHILDREN’S EASTER AN ‘EGGSTRA’ SPECIAL ONE!

Easter is fondly known as a time when families get together, but for some less fortunate children Easter isn’t a time to celebrate due to their personal circumstances and in some instances their health.

It’s for this reason that The Pallasades Shopping Centre have once again teamed up with the Birmingham Mail and Smooth Radio and their new media partner BBC WM, to launch
its ‘cracking’ Easter Egg Appeal to help make less advantaged children’s Easter one to remember happily.

Jonathan Cheetham, general manager for The Pallasades, explains the initiative: “At The Pallasades we pride ourselves on not only offering a wide variety of goods and services at great value, but also on supporting the local community.

“We have been running our Easter Egg Appeal for six years now and we’re looking to make this the most successful to date, which is why we need your assistance in giving deserving youngsters their best Easter yet.”

Residents of Birmingham are being asked to donate one or more chocolate eggs to either the Customer Services Desk or to Easter Egg Pod situated by the big clock at The Pallasades. Shoppers have until Monday 29th March to bring in their treats, which will then be distributed in time for Easter Sunday to local children in care and youngsters at Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.
