Help a Deserving child with the Tree of Light!
12th November 2010MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO A DESERVING CHILD THIS CHRISTMAS
The Christmas season is a great excuse to get together with friends and family, making the most of the festivities, opening presents and indulging in some great food and drink. For some though the yuletide doesnt bring such joy, which is why The Pallasades Shopping Centre is once again teaming up with Smooth Radio to support Birminghams deserving youngsters.
Now in its sixth year, the Tree of Light Appeal has helped to provide over 6,000 gifts for needy youngsters across Birmingham and The Pallasades hopes that this year will be the Appeals best yet.
Jonathan Cheetham, general manager for The Pallasades, states: With shoppers turning their minds to buying presents for loved ones, were urging the people of Birmingham to consider those less fortunate by buying a token gift and donating it to our Appeal.
Just think of the joy youll bring when a child opens their special gift from you on Christmas day, I truly believe a small gesture will make a big difference to many.
Interested parties are requested to bring their gift to the Customer Services Desk and The Pallasades will match every present with an extra gift for the young recipients. Shoppers have until 19th December to make a donation. The presents will be distributed to Birmingham Childrens Hospital and children in care across the city.
